The National Trust designates May as National Preservation Month. Events in Tyler kick off with a hands-on “How to Rehab” seminar on May 1, 2010, 1-5 pm, at Rick’s on the Square in downtown Tyler.
Co-sponsored by Historic Tyler and the Tyler Historical Preservation Board, the seminar will feature topics on paint, windows, and exterior preservation concerns as well as sessions on how to apply for Tyler Historical Landmarks, site markers, Half Mile of History and Certificates of Appropriateness.
